Anyone with any advice on their absolute favorite means of sharpening instruments, please let me and the world know! Besides sharpening with my own two hands and a stone, I've only used the Nordent Sharpener, which is nice, I think. I'm not sure I love it. I sometimes wonder if I'm getting the right angle on the instrument as I'm sharpening. The only other sharpener I've heard of is the Hu-friedy sharpener, however I've not heard if it is great or not.

I've never sharpened with anything but a hand sharpener. I think the next best thing would be to have a professional sharpen them, but that costs money!
ReplyDeleteI hate sharpening so much. I couldn't even tell you the last time I did it. I usually let the other hygienists do it, but then they ruin the instruments. I need to learn.
